Large Animal Rescue

Support built around the task.

Large animal rescue needs an understanding of both the working environment and animal behaviour. We consider reactive assistance and planned standby for equestrian settings, events and other activities involving large animals.

Requirements we can discuss

• Equestrian events and planned standby requirements
• Support for incidents involving large animals
• Rescue support coordinated with the owner, organiser and veterinary team where appropriate

What we need to understand

Explain the location, animal involved, situation, access, hazards and any veterinary involvement. We assess suitable people and equipment before confirming the support available.

Does animal rescue include veterinary treatment?

Veterinary assessment and treatment remain with the veterinary professional. Our agreed role is specialist rescue support, coordinated with the relevant people at the incident or event.
